brett is a native of the lehigh valley, and a former local high school and collegiate athlete. for the past 20 years, brett has lived and worked in new york city, where he has been exposed to a multitude of fitness trends.
although he has always sought out new workouts to increase his general level of fitness, and improve his golf game, a recent focus on strengthening and lengthening while limiting the chance of injury is what ultimately provided the inspiration for barreform - an integration of strength, endurance, core, cardio, balance, flexibility, and coordination.
brett received his megaformer instructor certification from barreform.

hugo & ike
BFFs who are proficient at downward facing dog and savasana.
hugo and ike are our official smile squad and occasional lap warmers. they can frequently be found scurrying around the studio checking your form, delivering motivational kisses, working the reception desk and retrieving (ahem, stealing) unattended socks and/or towels.
hugo loves snuggling, while ike prefers bouncing a resistance ball off his nose and chasing squeaky toys.
a New Englander through and through, ashley moved to the Lehigh Valley from Rhode Island to pursue her undergraduate degree at Lehigh University. she entered the group fitness scene to stay active during her busy class schedule, and spin stole her heart and she has been hooked ever since, ashley became Spinning™️ certified in Boston the winter of 2018.
after spending 15 years as a dancer, she understands that music can release a wide range of emotions in us all, and she choreographs rides carefully and intentionally to help release any feelings you may be holding onto, good, bad, beautiful or ugly. for an extra challenge, add a turn any time she mentions caramel macchiatos, her English Bulldog (Rousey!), or true crime podcasts.
she apologizes in advance for calling the water fountain a ‘bubblah’, but hopes her blood-pumping, heart-racing class makes up for it and you leave feeling like your best self!

born in central PA, amanda spent the past 3 years living in Maryland before calling the Lehigh Valley home in mid-2018. her love of indoor cycling began in Baltimore where she used her classes as an outlet for her crazy work schedule. as a BeatBoss™️ certified instructor, she makes tempo and tension match while adding some style to traditional moves on the bike. when she’s not busy chasing operating room schedules as a medical device clinical specialist, you can find her cheering on Penn State sports as an alumni, cuddling her kitten, charlie, hiking a nearby trail, or planning her next solo excursion. amanda is passionate about creating an inviting workout experience for all levels of riders, while still bringing everyone in the room, including herself, out of their comfort zone.
be ready have to have some fun because she’s a true believer in “we don’t ride, we dance!”
